Another complainant against attorney Dvir: Prosecution attributes solicitation to prostitution

The State Prosecutor's Office filed an amended indictment against attorney Idan Dvir, including an additional complainant and an additional charge of attempting to bring a person to an act of prostitution. The indictment attributes 11 charges to Dvir concerning 11 female soldiers, including rape, attempted rape, and indecent acts. Dvir is detained until the end of proceedings.

The State Prosecutor's Office today (Thursday) submitted to the Central District Court an amended indictment against attorney Idan Dvir, including an additional complainant and an additional charge of attempting to bring a person to an act of prostitution under aggravated circumstances. The indictment attributes 11 charges to Dvir concerning 11 female soldiers, including rape, attempted rape, indecent act by force, multiple counts of indecent acts, sexual harassment, and other offenses. Recently, the court accepted the prosecution's request and ordered Dvir's detention until the end of proceedings. In parallel to the criminal proceedings, Dvir continues to manage a defamation lawsuit he filed against one of the complainants in the case, for 50,000 shekels, after she called him a "scam artist." The request to the civil court argued that this is a silencing lawsuit intended to deepen the harm to the complainant, who is in a difficult mental state.
