MK Amit Halevi, who was pushed to the 33rd spot on the Likud list, insisted in an interview with 103FM that "getting 19th place in Likud is not losing." Journalist Ron Kofman harshly attacked him, accused him and his voters of "buying a traitor," and claimed the party chairman sold them out. Halevi defended his loyalty to Likud values.

MK Amit Halevi, who was pushed to the 33rd spot on the Likud list after the primaries, tried to project business as usual in an interview with 103FM. Halevi boasted about receiving nearly 22,000 votes and described primary day as "one of the most fun days of my life." Journalist Ron Kofman wasn't buying the optimistic message and harshly attacked Halevi. Kofman accused Halevi and his voters of "buying a traitor" and hinted they knew party chairman Benjamin Netanyahu had sold them out. Kofman also referred to slots on the list, including Gideon Sa'ar, and claimed they took Halevi's place. Halevi responded that members who left Likud did so with the intention of toppling the government. Kofman retorted that Netanyahu is "paranoid, everyone always wants to topple him." Halevi concluded by declaring his loyalty to Likud's national and liberal values, clarifying he had criticized the government in the past when necessary.
