Amir Ohana against Britain: "Our ally is not Londinistan"

Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana attacked British sanctions on settlements, calling Britain "Londinistan" and emphasizing that the US is the true ally. He dismissed a report about a warning from the UAE, called on Ofer Winter to withdraw from the race, and addressed polls in which Yashar leads Likud.

Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana sharply attacked the sanctions imposed by Britain on businesses in Judea and Samaria, calling the United Kingdom "Londinistan." In an interview with 103FM, Ohana emphasized that the United States is Israel's closest ally, unlike Britain. He dismissed a report that Prime Minister Netanyahu received a warning from the UAE, claiming the source of the leak is Mohammed Dahlan. Ohana condemned violence by Jews in Judea and Samaria but argued that the British sanctions target the settlement enterprise itself, not just rioters. Regarding the upcoming elections, Ohana called on MK Ofer Winter to withdraw from the race, arguing that his party might not pass the electoral threshold and could cause a loss of votes for the right. Ohana also addressed recent polls in which the Yashar party, led by Gadi Eisenkot, leads Likud by four seats, claiming that mainstream polls have never accurately predicted Likud's true strength.
