The visit takes place amid discussions on the second phase of the plan for the day after in Gaza. The Peace Council has committed to Israel to work on finding countries that will absorb students and patients from Gaza, as revealed in a document obtained by Kan News. Yesterday, a document was exposed regarding fundraising for more than sixty projects of the council, which are supposed to start from August this year until January 2027. The projects include establishing pilot zones and humanitarian camps, a tech employment program ("Gaza Tech Park"), rehabilitating hospitals, clearing rubble and unexploded ordnance, establishing a unit for personal security and police detention facilities. Last Friday, Trump announced that the council reached a historic deal to disarm Hamas. According to the agreement, in the first 14 days Hamas will cease its military activity, and then the disarmament process will begin. Meanwhile, Israel will need to hold fire. In the Strip, it was reported that 18 Palestinians were killed in IDF strikes.
