Almost two years after it was written: Nunu releases the album 'Hagenuz'

Singer Nunu (Naomi Aharoni-Gal) released her new album 'Hagenuz' this morning, which was originally recorded as her second album and shelved with the outbreak of the war. The album was recorded in Greece with producer Iliay Ashdot, and alongside it came the single 'Layla', dealing with longing for her late father, with a clip directed by Nunu together with Adam Gabai.

The album was originally recorded as her second album, but was shelved with the outbreak of the war and is now being released. The creative process began in the summer of 2022, shortly after the success of her debut album 'Status' and the hit 'Cutie Boy'. Nunu and producer Iliay Ashdot recorded the songs in a makeshift studio in Greece. After about a year of work, and following the October 7 massacre, the singer decided to freeze the project. As part of the album's release, the single 'Layla' also came out this morning, which deals with Nunu's longing for her late father. This is the first time the singer has released a song that directly addresses this subject. The song is accompanied by a clip directed by Nunu together with Adam Gabai.
