UN Special Rapporteur on Palestine, Francesca Albanese, accused the Israeli occupation army of continuing the siege of the town of Qusra in the northern occupied West Bank, in coordination with settlers, and cutting off its water supply. In a post on the platform "X," Albanese described the occupation army as "the most morally bankrupt" and said it continues its attacks in Gaza, where since the ceasefire it has resulted in the deaths of over 1,200 Palestinians, including 300 children. This comes as Israeli settlers, for the 13th day, continue the siege of three Palestinian families in the town of Qusra, amid a deployment of the occupation army. The West Bank has seen an escalation in attacks by the occupation army and settlers since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza in 2023, resulting in the deaths of over 1,182 Palestinians and the injury of thousands in the West Bank, and the arrest of about 24,000, according to Palestinian data. Since the beginning of 2026, the escalation in the West Bank has resulted in the deaths of 87 Palestinians.
