In press statements on Saturday, al-Tafkaji explained that the attacks on Tel village are part of a settlement project targeting the expansion and connection of settlement blocs at the expense of Palestinian villages, through intensifying assaults and imposing new facts on the ground that push residents to leave. He added that what is happening reflects an official policy that goes beyond individual attacks, noting that settlers operate with support and protection from the occupation authorities. The West Bank is witnessing an escalation after a shooting incident near Tel village last Friday, as the occupation army imposed a tight siege on the village, carried out raids and arrests, and announced the start of procedures to demolish two Palestinian homes. Settler attacks have escalated, with the burning of two mosques in Qusra and Kur, torching vehicles, and assaulting citizens.
