The "Al-Haras" platform, affiliated with the Resistance Security, published confessions of a person called "Agent M", accusing him of causing the assassination of commander Izz al-Din al-Haddad, a Qassam Brigades leader. The confessions, published on Wednesday, revealed details of his connection with Israeli occupation intelligence since November 2023, after he contacted a Facebook account that claimed to be a "Palestinian security apparatus", before it turned out that his handler was an Israeli officer. The agent received financial aid in exchange for information, then his activity expanded to include gathering field intelligence. The intelligence used American aid distribution points as a cover for his meetings and training. Among the most prominent tasks attributed to him was monitoring al-Haddad's location and reporting his movements, which led to an Israeli strike targeting his vehicle, resulting in his martyrdom and that of several family members. The agent also confessed to providing information about citizens out of personal revenge or based on speculation, which led to the targeting of three young men and the martyrdom of two of them.
