Airline announces — flights canceled until September 15

TAP Air Portugal has postponed the resumption of its Tel Aviv–Lisbon route until September 15 due to tensions with Iran. Passengers can change their bookings free of charge. Lufthansa is increasing flights to Israel, and SWISS has resumed operations.

Portuguese airline TAP Air Portugal has announced the cancellation of all flights on the Tel Aviv–Lisbon route until at least September 15. The reason is heightened security tensions and fears of an escalation of the conflict with Iran. Passengers with tickets on TAP flights are entitled to one free booking change without paying the fare difference on the same route. The concessions apply to TAP and TAP Express flights. Amid the gradual restoration of air traffic, the Lufthansa Group has announced a significant increase in the number of flights to Israel ahead of August. SWISS has resumed flights for the first time since March, after leaving the Israeli market due to Operation Lion's Roar. The day before, the company's plane landed at Ben Gurion Airport, having flown from Zurich.
