Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg predicts that within five years, personal AI agents will become a common tool for billions of people. They will autonomously perform tasks: planning, searching for information, helping with purchases and bookings. Meta plans to distribute them through WhatsApp, where Meta AI already works. More than a million companies use Meta's AI solutions in WhatsApp and Messenger. The company is also building a data center with BlackRock for $14 billion, despite Reality Labs losses.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg predicts that within about five years, personal AI agents will become an everyday tool for billions of people, similar to smartphones. These agents will differ from modern chatbots in their higher autonomy: they will be able to plan actions, search for information, help with purchases, bookings, and correspondence without constant user control. Meta expects that WhatsApp will become the key platform for distributing such assistants, where Meta AI already works. The company is also developing AI solutions for businesses that help consult clients, process orders, and increase sales; according to Meta, such systems are already used by more than a million companies in WhatsApp and Messenger. In addition, Meta is considering the possibility of earning money by providing computing infrastructure to other companies, while retaining part of the resources for its own developments. Zuckerberg sees the next stage of Meta's development in combining AI agents, smart glasses, and new recommendation algorithms that will unite into a single system accompanying the user throughout the day. However, large-scale investments in AI create a burden on the budget: the Reality Labs division continues to incur losses. Despite investor concerns, Meta, together with BlackRock, announced the construction of a data center worth about $14 billion to provide additional capacity for AI development.
