A truck overturned at the entrance to the Paz gas station near the Sha'ar Hagai interchange, hitting four other vehicles. MDA teams provided her medical treatment and evacuated her along with another lightly injured person to Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem. The Jerusalem District Fire and Rescue Services reported that four fire and rescue teams from the Beit Shemesh area were dispatched to the scene and rescued one trapped person. The police stated that traffic accident investigators from the Jerusalem District are on their way to investigate the circumstances of the accident. The accident caused heavy traffic jams due to the central location of the interchange, and the gas station remained closed until the truck and damaged vehicles were removed.
