Russia struck the capital Kyiv as well as the cities of Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih with missiles and a large number of drones. The attack comes amid growing tensions between Iran and Ukraine, due to the military cooperation between Tehran and Moscow, which according to Kyiv includes the supply of drones and military components to Russia. The damage to an Iranian cargo ship in the Caspian Sea raised concerns of direct escalation, but for now diplomatic contacts have prevented an Iranian military response. Just two days ago, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Zelensky spoke at Graham's funeral about the drone threat. An Israeli source told the New York Post that "both countries have a common problem - drones," especially fiber-optic guided FPV drones that cannot be jammed. Netanyahu was impressed by Ukraine's adaptation to the threat. A Ukrainian source said the conversation was not pre-planned.
