Castro-Hoodies and Renuar announced today (Monday) the establishment of a partnership that will lead the operations of the Chinese brand ANTA in Israel. The initial investment is estimated at about 30 million shekels, and operations are expected to begin during 2027. Under the agreement, Renuar will hold 39% of the share capital of the dedicated subsidiary, and Castro-Hoodies 51%. The operations will include wholesale distribution, establishing a chain of stores, and an online sales site. Additionally, an agreement was signed to convert existing points of sale to the ANTA brand, to accelerate its penetration into the Israeli market. The announcement comes after Castro-Hoodies signed a distribution agreement with ANTA last month. ANTA, traded on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, is the world's third-largest sportswear company, with over 10,000 stores in China and about 250 international points of sale. Its 2025 revenues totaled about $11.6 billion, and it is the largest shareholder in the German brand Puma. Israel Chen, the designated CEO of the brand in Israel, said he is excited to take part in building ANTA's presence in Israel, seeing it as a combination of his professional experience and his passion for sports. He anticipates growing demand for international brands in Israel.
