The soldier clarified already in the initial stage of the investigation that he came to the scene with one goal – to save lives, and that the incident occurred during a widespread riot involving many other soldiers. In Arab networks and left-wing channels, the soldier was labeled as guilty, but the police stated that they are not swayed by the publications.
