The IDF described the Ali Taher Ridge as Hezbollah's "central nerve center" up to the Dahieh neighborhood in Beirut. Dozens of militants had entrenched themselves inside the underground route. Inside the compound, 50 militants were eliminated. Yahalom fighters said the maneuver in the compound was the most complex they had experienced.
