After the attack on Israeli hikers in the village of Sa'ir: three Palestinian residents of the place arrested

The IDF arrested three residents of the Palestinian village of Sa'ir on suspicion of involvement in throwing stones at Israeli hikers last night. The detainees, two brothers aged 51 and 45 and another resident aged 46, are being questioned by the police. Israelis were injured in the incident, a security coordinator fired at Palestinians, and according to Palestinian reports a 17-year-old was killed and a building was set on fire.

The IDF arrested last night (between Friday and Saturday) three residents of the Palestinian village of Sa'ir on suspicion of being involved in throwing stones at a group of Israeli hikers last night on the outskirts of the village. The detainees, two brothers aged 51 and 45 and another resident aged 46, were transferred to police investigation. According to the suspicion, the three and others who have not yet been located posed a real danger to the lives of the Israelis. In response to their actions, a security coordinator of a nearby settlement fired warning shots and then fired at several Palestinians who continued to endanger the hikers. IDF forces that were called to the scene acted to extract the hikers from the area and repel the rioters. The police reported that two injured were evacuated from the scene and later the death of one of them was determined. According to Palestinian reports, a 17-year-old was shot and killed and a building was set on fire by Israelis. The investigation continues to locate additional suspects.
