This was reported by Barak Ravid. There is a chance the two will arrive next week, but a source familiar with the details noted it is not final. Prime Minister Netanyahu stated at the beginning of the week that Israel rejects the 15-point document of the Gaza Peace Council. He said in a statement at the start of the cabinet meeting: "Israel rejects the 15-point document... The IDF will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is disarmed." Senior officials in Trump's Peace Council quickly pushed back against the Prime Minister's statement, claiming Israel is implementing the agreement. "We look at actual deeds, less at talk and declarations," those officials told Ynet. Meanwhile, after a period of quiet, Israeli strikes on Gaza continue for the third consecutive day. The IDF announced it eliminated a Hamas company commander in Khan Younis who planned to carry out terror attacks. Another strike occurred in Gaza City, and according to the Interior Ministry in the Strip, the head of the Gaza District Police, Jamal Abu Kamil, was killed. In a security discussion, Netanyahu said: "The rules of engagement in Gaza have not changed and will not change. IDF fighters have our full backing to thwart any threat to them and our citizens." A security source said this evening that Israel informed the Americans it will continue to thwart Hamas operatives involved in the October 7 massacre and against emerging threats. According to the source, Washington accepts the Israeli approach. In Jerusalem, it was decided to increase coordination with the US command in Kiryat Gat and agreed to moderate activity in the Gaza Strip. If Kushner indeed arrives, he is expected to raise the situation in Judea and Samaria and the American concern over settler violence. US Ambassador Mike Huckabee called the Jewish rioters in the village of Qusra "Israeli terrorists." Kushner referred to the sixth anniversary of the Abraham Accords, writing on X: "We surprised the world once... I believe we can do it again."
