After court victory, Natan Zehavi is looking for a job

Zehavi wrote: "A broadcaster with decades of experience and ratings of hundreds of thousands of listeners is looking for a job. Only serious offers, please." Dan Shilon responded: "If I had a worthy platform today, I would have hired Natan Zehavi yesterday. A dear man, clean-handed, and an excellent broadcaster." The legal dispute began in November 2022, when Zehavi made extreme remarks against haredi public figures on his show "Zehavi Nervous," saying he would be happy "if some of you would tie tefillin to your throats and hang yourselves." The station suspended him immediately and demanded an apology and guarantees. Zehavi refused, claiming the unpaid suspension was illegal. The court ruled that the station breached the contract and must pay Zehavi 796,500 shekels in compensation plus 75,000 shekels in legal costs. However, Zehavi's defamation and moral rights claims were dismissed. The judge ordered the contract voided, and the station must decide whether to enforce the non-compete clause.
