After 'beating him up': 4 teens arrested for attacking usher at Rehovot cinema

Four teenagers aged 15-16 from Rehovot were arrested on suspicion of assaulting an usher at the 'Hot Cinema' about a week and a half ago, after he reprimanded them for using an e-cigarette and disturbing viewers of the film 'Kupa Rishona'. The usher was taken to Kaplan Hospital and released the next day. Police arrested the suspects at their homes and will seek to extend their detention.

Four teenagers aged 15-16 from Rehovot were arrested today (Tuesday) on suspicion of assaulting an 18-year-old usher at the 'Hot Cinema' in the city about a week and a half ago. According to the suspicion, the teenagers smoked an e-cigarette in the hall, disturbed viewers of the film 'Kupa Rishona', and responded aggressively. The usher reprimanded them, and in response, the teenagers attacked him and beat him in the face. He was taken at midnight to Kaplan Hospital and released the next day. The teenagers fled before police arrived at the scene. Police arrested the four at their homes and will seek to extend their detention tomorrow in court. A couple who were in the hall described on social media how the usher was attacked by about six teenagers, noting that the cinema shared security with the mall, so it took several minutes for a security guard to arrive. Attorney Yaron Forer, representing one of the teenagers, stated that his client was himself attacked by the security guard and did not attack the usher.
