The caption noted that Gadot "shines on the cover of Modern Luxury magazine." The post sparked a wave of hostile reactions on social media platform X, including calls to boycott the brand for choosing a former IDF soldier. An account named PalMediaOrg wrote: "It's not that complicated: boycott." Additional comments attacked Gadot personally and in offensive language. The incident comes days after a similar controversy surrounding Adidas, which featured IDF soldier Shaliv Bitton in a campaign for shoes for amputees. Following pressure from anti-Israeli activists, Adidas issued a formal apology last Monday and removed the video.
