In response, school studies will start late at 10:00 AM. Dr. Eliezer Vinograd, acting secretary-general of the Teachers' Union and chairman of the Be'er Sheva branch, will arrive at the school for a briefing with the staff. Michael Pinto, head of the professional union division, stated that a teacher being attacked with punches is evidence of a severe failure, and demanded full backing and real deterrence from the Ministry of Education. Vinograd added that attacking a teacher is crossing a red line, and the Teachers' Union will act decisively to ensure the safety and dignity of teachers.
