After 7 months: 4 suspects arrested, including a mother and her son, in murder of woman in front of her children
Police arrested four suspects, including a mother and her son, in connection with the murder of Wafaa Khasarma (35) from Ba'ana in the Galilee, who was shot dead in January in front of her children. The covert investigation by the Galilee District Central Unit became overt, and the arrests were carried out this morning. The murder is believed to have occurred against the background of a family dispute. The victim's husband was murdered in 2021.
Police announced today (Sunday) the arrest of four suspects involved in the murder of Wafaa Khasarma (35) from the village of Ba'ana in the Galilee. Khasarma was shot dead in January this year in her car, in front of her two children who were not injured. Following a covert investigation by the Central Unit of the Galilee District, four suspects from the village were arrested this morning, including a mother and her son. Police assess that the murder likely occurred against the background of a family dispute. Khasarma was a special education counselor and worked in schools. Her husband, Mahmoud Khasarma (38), was also shot dead in November 2021 in Nahariya. The four will be brought for a remand hearing.
