Adir Habani's admission in testimony: "If I have to sit in prison, that's what will happen"

Adir Habani admitted in cross-examination at the Tel Aviv District Court that in retrospect he understands that a sexual incident with Ola Kravchenko was rape, and said he is willing to bear criminal responsibility and go to prison. The hearing also revealed additional allegations of violence, including his admission that he slammed her head against a wall. Kravchenko's lawyers argued that his accusations against her regarding the murder of Tair Rada stemmed from anger over the breakup.

In a hearing held today (Tuesday) at the Tel Aviv District Court, as part of a defamation lawsuit filed by Ola Kravchenko against Adir Habani and other defendants, Habani admitted in cross-examination that in retrospect he understands that a sexual incident between him and Kravchenko was rape. Habani said he is willing to bear criminal responsibility and go to prison. The judge confirmed that he indeed said this. The hearing also revealed allegations of physical violence, including Habani's admission that he slammed Kravchenko's head against a wall. Kravchenko's lawyers presented an alternative thesis, according to which Habani's accusations against Kravchenko regarding the murder of Tair Rada stemmed from anger over their difficult breakup, and not from a genuine belief in her involvement. Habani rejected this claim. The hearing also touched on Habani's mental health history, having been previously diagnosed with a behavioral disorder with narcissistic characteristics.
