Razi, 19, from Givat Ze'ev, was murdered on the night between July 11 and 12 in a guest apartment on Shirazli Street. According to the suspicion, young people armed with attack tools attacked him and his friend, stabbed and beat them, and fled. Razi died of his wounds, and his friend was lightly injured. The police arrested six suspects hours after the murder, some of them minors, and their detention was extended several times. On July 20, the detention of three minors was extended by eight days, and the detention of Shilat Huta by four more days. Later, David Keren and a 16-year-old minor were arrested, and the police conducted a manhunt for Avior Sasson who had fled.
