The workers, including nursing staff, caregivers, social workers, and administrative, maintenance, and kitchen teams, seek to strengthen their job security, improve salary and welfare conditions, and establish collective labor relations with management. Chairman of the Histadrut's Karmiel district, Yoav Klein, said that unionization is a natural step to ensure the workers' future and rights. Action committee member Ahmed Abu Arab emphasized the need for stability, respect, and fair employment conditions, and called on management to enter negotiations for a collective agreement.
