However, she recalls that in the past, when the racist remarks of Ziv Agmon, the Prime Minister's chief of staff, about Mizrahi Jews were exposed, many on the right remained silent. Martziano asks why those same critics did not cry out then, and raises the possibility that the shock depends on one's position. She also mentions the appointment of the State Comptroller, an Ashkenazi, instead of the Mizrahi judge Yosef Elron, and the remarks of Yinon Magal about Eisenkot voters.
