A Moment with Dudly, Butz and Kashkashkash: Childhood Stars Return to the Stage

The 36th Haifa International Children's Theater Festival kicks off in the last week of the summer vacation, after being postponed from Passover due to the war. The highlight: the show "Greetings from Kashkashkash" celebrating 60 years of educational television heroes, with characters like Uza, Butz, Nuli, Kashkashkash and Dudly, and participants including Hani Nahmias, Miki Kam and Tal Mosseri.

The 36th Haifa International Children's Theater Festival kicks off in the last week of the summer vacation, after being postponed from Passover due to the war. The festival's highlight is the show "Greetings from Kashkashkash", celebrating 60 years of educational television heroes. On one stage will appear the timeless characters Uza, Butz, Nuli, Kashkashkash, Rega and Dudly, portrayed by children's stars Hani Nahmias, Miki Kam, Nira Rabinovich, Tzipi Mor, Shari Tzuriel and Tal Mosseri. The official competition will feature 5 original premiere productions: "The Stick", "Giant Dwarf", "The Tiny Kingdom" based on Etgar Keret's book, "Team for the Matter" and "How to Pack Elephants". Alongside paid shows, free outdoor events will take place at the Haifa Theater plaza and Benjamin Garden, including dance performances, living statues, breakdance, street theater and circus shows. Additionally, free music performances will be offered: "Kaveret for Children", "Children of the Tree House" and "Cloud on a Stick". The festival will take place on Tuesday-Thursday, August 25-27.
