A Ma'ariv poll published this morning (Friday) reveals a significant low for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: the Likud party receives only 19 seats, a figure not seen in over a year. Ofer Winter's new party, "Yashar!", passes the electoral threshold with 25 seats and becomes the largest party in the poll. The Zionist opposition bloc receives 58 seats, and the Arab parties 12 seats. The rate of undecided voters dropped from 11% to 7.5% after the lists closed. In suitability for prime minister, Gadi Eisenkot maintains a double-digit lead with 50% versus 38% for Netanyahu. Naftali Bennett also leads Netanyahu, 45% versus 40%. An absolute majority (79%) of respondents say they will stay in Israel even if their party is not in the coalition. The poll was conducted on September 9-10 among 601 respondents out of 4,329 invited (14% completion rate), with a maximum sampling error of 4%.
