A 'Carlo' weapon was hidden in a well-known hotel in north Tel Aviv, being checked if linked to the Jerushi crime organization

In a joint operation by the Prison Service's YMAR unit and the Israel Police, a 'Carlo' type weapon was found today hidden in the 'Mandarin' hotel in north Tel Aviv. The operation was carried out against the backdrop of a conflict between elements associated with crime organizations. The weapon was transferred to forensic laboratories, and the investigation continues at the north Tel Aviv police station.

In a joint operational activity by the Prison Service's YMAR unit and the Israel Police, a 'Carlo' type weapon was exposed and located today (Monday) hidden in the grounds of the 'Mandarin' hotel in north Tel Aviv. The operation was carried out against the backdrop of an ongoing conflict between elements associated with crime organizations in the center. During the operation, a raid was conducted on the hiding place and a comprehensive search was carried out during which the weapons were located. According to suspicion, the submachine gun was hidden by elements operating on behalf of crime organizations. The weapon was transferred for further treatment to the police's forensic laboratories, and the investigation continues at the north Tel Aviv station in the Yarkon district in order to reach those involved. The Prison Service and the police stated that the organizations will continue to join forces and act with a firm hand while employing advanced operational and intelligence capabilities against crime organizations, to locate illegal weapons and to protect public safety.
