401st Brigade concludes eight months in Lebanon: 1,200 targets destroyed

The 401st Brigade completed eight months of operations in southern Lebanon, during which it destroyed over 1,200 Hezbollah terror infrastructures, including underground routes spanning hundreds of meters. More than 600 weapons were located and over 60 terrorists were eliminated. The brigade commander, Colonel Yoav Schneider, emphasized the heavy price paid and the soldiers' commitment to the mission.

The 401st Brigade completed its mission in southern Lebanon after eight months of defensive and offensive operations, under the command of the 91st Division. This was reported by the IDF Spokesperson. The forces operated along the border line and in the security zone in southern Lebanon, aiming to remove threats to the State of Israel. According to the IDF, the forces destroyed over 1,200 Hezbollah terror infrastructures, including underground routes with a total length of hundreds of meters, destroyed in cooperation with Yahalom forces. Additionally, more than 600 weapons were located and over 60 terrorists were eliminated. The commander of the 401st Brigade, Colonel Yoav Schneider, said: "The purpose – preventing and distancing the threat to Israeli citizens. This is the purpose we repeated morning and evening. The brigade's achievements in Lebanon were achieved at heavy costs, both of the brigade's soldiers and of the brigade combat team. We will always remember the brigade's fallen, and they will always be in our hearts forever." These words emphasize the heavy price paid by the brigade and its determination to complete the mission.
