Four months have passed since the death of Reut Cohen, 35, from Ra'anana, who passed away at Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba while carrying twins in the 28th week of her pregnancy. The family claims that a week before her death, she went to Sheba Hospital feeling unwell and was released, and that she was also released in stable condition from Meir Hospital. Both hospitals denied allegations of negligence. The Health Ministry announced the establishment of an investigative committee, but according to her brother Itai, the committee has not yet convened. The family is launching a struggle and demanding clear answers. Itai linked the delay to the elections in Israel, writing in a personal post: "How much longer will you leave a family that lost three souls waiting for the justice it deserves?" The Health Ministry stated that the committee will convene next month and that there is no connection between the timeline and the elections.
