25 years of memory: Memorial ceremony for 9/11 victims held at Jerusalem memorial

On the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, the annual memorial ceremony was held at the Twin Towers Memorial in Jerusalem's Sacher Park, the only memorial site outside the US bearing the names of all victims. The ceremony was attended by US Ambassador Mike Huckabee, representatives of KKL-JNF and JNF-USA, bereaved families, the "HEART of Nova" band, and the police orchestra.

The memorial is the only site outside the United States displaying the names of all 2,997 victims of the terrorist attack. The ceremony was attended by US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee; CEO of Jewish National Fund USA, Russell Robinson; and KKL-JNF Chairperson Tali Tzur-Avner. Also participating were Sori and Harvey (Chanokh) Morgenstern, who lost their daughter Nancy in the attack. The "HEART of Nova" band, composed of survivors of the October 7 Nova festival attack, performed "Shir Lama'alot." The police orchestra and the "Gdolim Ba'Midim" band accompanied the ceremony. US Marines and Israeli firefighters laid wreaths. The speeches emphasized the solidarity between Israel and the US and the shared commitment to fighting terrorism.
