According to the indictment, about a month ago, in the early morning, the defendant left his home on Rabinovich Street in Holon on an electric scooter, carrying a live hand grenade. At around 2:56 a.m., he arrived at the scene and threw the grenade at the building while family members, including three minors, were inside, some asleep. The grenade exploded at the front of the building, causing extensive damage: windows were shattered, gas balloons exploded, and furniture, electrical appliances, and a motorcycle in the yard were damaged. The defendant fled but injured his hand when he struggled to pull the pin, and threw his clothes into a trash can on Wolf Vilensky Street in an attempt to destroy evidence. The state is requesting his detention until the end of proceedings, citing evidence such as a confession with hidden details, seized clothing, a blood stain with a matching DNA profile, and identification by his mother and his sister's partner on security cameras. It was also noted that he has four prior convictions for property, violence, and arson offenses, and that he had been released from a two-year prison sentence about three months before the incident.
