18 Years of Excellence: Tel Aviv-Yafo District of the Histadrut Awards Outstanding Employee Prizes for 2026
The Tel Aviv-Yafo district of the Histadrut awarded the 2026 Outstanding Employee Prizes to 14 workers from various sectors, including health, security, transportation, banking, and culture. Among the winners: Liora Harari, who lost her son in the Swords of Iron war, received a special recognition shield for resilience and inspiring work. District chair Orna Avidan congratulated the winners and emphasized the importance of recognizing outstanding employees.
The Tel Aviv-Yafo district of the Histadrut held the Outstanding Employee Award ceremony for 2026, marking 18 consecutive years of activity. The ceremony awarded excellence certificates to 14 employees selected by the prize committee from many candidates, for exceptional professional achievements, dedication, initiative, and significant contribution to their organizations and Israeli society. The winners represent a wide range of fields: Hertzel Halfon (Egged), Zohar Dorani (Enforcement and Collection Authority), Tova Sbergo (National Institute for Road Safety), Yehuda Simchi (Civilian Employees of the IDF), Yafa Danilov (Israel Postal Company), Liora Harari (Mizrahi Tefahot Bank), Semion Agronsky (Habima Theater), Abd al-Aziz Adam Ahmed (National Sports Center Tel Aviv-Yafo), Ubeida Masarwa (Clalit Health Services), Philip Gatta (Royal Beach Hotel), Rami Youzbashi (Sea-Net Tel Aviv Hotel), Ravid Grinstein (Ministry of Defense), Ron Masovi (State Comptroller Project), and Shir Skandion (Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality). A central moment was the special recognition shield awarded to Liora Harari, who lost her son Malachi Yehuda in the Swords of Iron war and continued her professional work with dedication and determination. District chair Orna Avidan congratulated the winners and emphasized the importance of recognizing employees who set a high standard of professionalism and dedication. Kobi Vahanish, chair of the Egged workers' committee, spoke about the contribution of outstanding employees and the importance of organized labor. Zohar Dorani spoke on behalf of the winners and thanked the Histadrut and workplaces. The project was led and coordinated by Adi Ben Ami, deputy district chair. Additionally, a recognition shield was awarded to Zvika Sapir, who served as deputy district chair for 15 years. The artistic segment included a performance by the Histadrut band.
