According to the lawsuit, Limor was summoned to a meeting where Lital slapped her in the face. When she tried to move away, the attacker's friends surrounded her, pulled her hair, knocked her to the ground, and punched her. The attack was recorded and distributed on WhatsApp groups. Lital even tried to destroy evidence by writing in the group "delete all chats in case the police come." The victim's parents filed a landmark lawsuit for NIS 120,000 against the attacker's parents, arguing that "violence has a price" and that a "slippery and dangerous slope" must be stopped. The lawyers representing the family emphasized the role of the legal system in sending a public message. The victim's father said his daughter is undergoing treatment and the family had to move neighborhoods. The defendant's family declined to comment.
