14.5% Wage Increases: New Collective Agreement for Tambord Employees

The Histadrut in the Western Galilee region, Tambord management, and the workers' committee signed a new four-year collective agreement covering about 70 factory workers in Acre. The agreement includes wage increases of 14.5% over the period, improved welfare conditions, updated entitlements, and increased budgets for meal vouchers and welfare activities. Tambord is a subsidiary of Tambor, specializing in gypsum boards and light construction.

Representatives of the Histadrut in the Western Galilee region, Tambord management, and the workers' committee signed a new collective agreement today (Wednesday). The agreement is valid for four years and will apply to about 70 workers at the plant in Acre. The agreement includes wage increases of 14.5% over the entire term, improved welfare conditions, updated entitlements, and increased budgets for meal vouchers and welfare activities. Tambord is a subsidiary of Tambor, specializing in the production and marketing of gypsum boards and advanced solutions for light construction. Among the partners in the negotiations: Chairman of the Western Galilee region Asher Shmueli, Chairman of Na'amat Ofra Elkaim Cohen, Trade Union Secretary Adv. Muhammad Safiya, Workers' Committee Chairman Ataf Garmati, and committee members Muhammad Makhoul and Muhammad Khatat. On behalf of Tambord: Group CEO Micha Shreier, VP of Human Resources Yodfat Kirmayer, VP of Operations Liron Koter, and Northern District HR Manager Shkema Levin. Chairman of the Western Galilee region Asher Shmueli said: "Deep thanks and great appreciation to all those who worked day and night to achieve the agreement, both from management and from the workers' representatives."
