Tel Aviv leads with 7 dead and 55 seriously injured, Jerusalem with 6 dead and 42 seriously injured. In summer 2026, 105 people have been killed so far, compared to a record of 117 in all of summer 2025.

Tel Aviv leads in the number of fatalities (7) and seriously injured (55). Jerusalem is second with 6 fatalities and 42 seriously injured. In Ashdod, Petah Tikva, and Ramat Gan, 3 fatalities were recorded in each. The data reveals mixed trends: in Tel Aviv, a 21.5% increase in casualties compared to summer 2024, while in Jerusalem a 25% decrease was recorded. However, the number of fatalities in Jerusalem remained the same (6). In Ashdod and Ramat Gan, an increase from zero to three fatalities was recorded. Looking broader, over the past decade (2016-2025), 3,660 people were injured in Tel Aviv in summer and 3,492 in Jerusalem, with 40 fatalities in each city. Summer 2026 presents a worrying picture: 105 fatalities so far, compared to a record of 117 in all of summer 2025.
