10 injured in settler attack in Hebron

Two citizens were wounded by live fire and eight others were beaten in an attack by settlers under the protection of occupation forces on the Ras area of Hebron early Sunday. The Red Crescent treated 10 injuries, and the forces arrested a citizen (46 years old). According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, settlers carried out 3,488 attacks in the West Bank since the beginning of 2026, resulting in 17 martyrs.

Two citizens were wounded by live fire and eight others were injured in a beating attack early Sunday morning during an attack carried out by settlers under the protection of Israeli occupation forces on the Ras area of Hebron, south of the occupied West Bank. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its crews treated 10 injuries, including two from live fire: the first was a 60-year-old citizen wounded in the back and hand, while another citizen (46 years old) was wounded before being arrested by the occupation forces. It added that eight citizens were injured in the beating, including a 66-year-old woman, during the attack by settlers and occupation forces on the Ja'bari neighborhood in the Ras area. According to data from the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission (governmental), settlers carried out 3,488 attacks against Palestinians and their property in the West Bank, leading to the martyrdom of 17 Palestinians during the first half of 2026. Since the start of the war in the Gaza Strip in October 2023, the Israeli occupation army and settlers have escalated their attacks in the West Bank, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 1,183 Palestinians, the injury of about 13,000, and the arrest of nearly 25,000.
