1,330 Settler Attacks in the West Bank Since Early 2026

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has documented over 1,330 crimes and attacks by settlers in the West Bank since the beginning of 2026, resulting in casualties and property damage. It expressed grave concern over the escalation of violence, noting that eight people have been killed since last Thursday and ten families have been displaced.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) announced the documentation of over 1,330 crimes and attacks involving settlers in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of 2026, resulting in casualties and damage to Palestinian property. This was stated in a Monday statement expressing grave concern over the escalation of violence across the West Bank in recent days. The office added that since last Thursday (July 23, 2026), at least eight people, including a boy, have been killed, and homes, mosques, trees, and agricultural facilities have been burned or vandalized, forcing at least ten families to flee. Israeli forces also tightened restrictions on Palestinian movement, preventing thousands from accessing basic services. The office noted that since the start of the year until last Saturday (July 25, 2026), 77 Palestinians, including 18 boys, have been killed by Israeli forces or settlers. It called for urgent protection of civilians and respect for international law. UN Secretary-General António Guterres also expressed concern over the occupation authorities' announcement to accelerate the legalization of outposts, stressing that all settlements violate international law and obstruct the two-state solution.
